The Muse Knoxville will be joining us at Knoxville Center on Septemeber 16th for a Family STEAM Night!
What is a STEAM Night?
It’s two hours of programming, including 5 different activities showing the integrated learning that occurs through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math).
Bring anyone and everyone to this family friendly event to learn and have fun together through intereactive activity stations provided by the Muse!
The event is free to the public and will be happening right in Center Court. We can’t wait to see you there!
-Boats and Buoyancy: Kids design and build a floating boat in this introductory engineering challenge.
-Catapults: Use sticks and rubber bands to launch a projectile.
-Ozobots: These little robots respond to a color-coded language that kids can draw.
-Binary Code Bracelets: Use binary code to make a bracelet that represents your intials.
-Refractometry: Measure plant juices to determine the sugar ratio of the plant, and how it might be used as a biofuel.
